Since 1936, Fulton County REMC has been serving more than 5,950 members in portions of Fulton, Cass, Kosciusko, Marshall, Miami, Pulaski, and Starke counties. Fulton County REMC employs 20 dedicated team members and has annual revenues of $13 million. The successful candidate will be a bright, hard-working, and self-motivated individual. This position is responsible for maintaining Fulton County REMC’s geographic information system (GIS) and for designing and staking of electrical facilities in accordance with Fulton County REMC and RUS construction specifications as well as the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements. The GIS and Staking Technician meets with members, prepares cost estimates, staking sheets, procures necessary construction permits, landowner right-of-way easements and administers necessary service application documents. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, technology or a related field, experience with geographic information systems, relational databases, and the ability to creatively solve problems.
