As a Systems Administrator, you will ensure our computer systems are well-maintained and optimized for performance under the direction of the IT Manager. Duties include but are not limited to software configurations, performance monitoring, general break/fix duties and other items as directed by the IT Manager and other management.
Responsibilities
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technologies.
Provide technical support to our staff and end-users for Meridian, Futura and Aclara needs.
Maintain existing applications and systems.
Manage / update system documentation, such as configurations, policies, and procedures.
Manage third party relationships with SEDC, Milsoft and other vendors.
Attend training and conferences as designated by IT Management.
Maintain accurate change records and documentation on work performed.
Assist employees with system needs in a timely and courteous manner.
Other items as directed by management.
Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred or 5+ years’ experience in IT.
Proven experience as a System Administrator, with at least [5] years of experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems.
Database experience is a plus (SQL, Oracle).
Tableau experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills with vendors and relationship management with vendors.
Prompt and courteous support for employees / board of directors on needs.
