Northeastern REMC (NREMC) is in search of a forward-thinking, results-focused self-starter to serve as our Key Accounts Specialist. This individual will be responsible for management of the cooperative’s key accounts (commercial and industrial loads, totaling approximately 40% of the load mix), including project management, customer relations, and rate and usage analysis. They should have an in-depth, analytical understanding of business practices, as well as a working knowledge of electrical engineering principles. They will develop relationships and maintain multiple constantly changing projects through both office and field visits, acting as the primary contact for commercial and industrial accounts and coordinating details of these projects from start to finish. Candidates should have strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
The Key Accounts Specialist will also be responsible for heading up economic development initiatives for the cooperative.
The ideal candidate is highly driven, creative thinking, charismatic and passionate about their work. They should not be afraid to take risks and are excited by the possibilities of designing solutions for our members that may be outside of the box. They should position themselves to be a resource of accurate and insightful information for some of the largest NREMC members, as well as employees. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of directly related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
