Maintain all vehicles and equipment in good running order through periodic and regular maintenance.
Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs, including oil changes, tune ups, and visual checks of tires, transmissions, and hydraulics as needed or at regular intervals.
Perform repairs outside of the shop and/or after hours as needed.
Coordinate and communicate with outside contractors engaged by the Company to ensure maintenance and repair work is completed according to specifications, on-time, and on-budget.
Deliver and pick up trucks and vehicles or equipment parts for outside repairs as needed.
Initiate requisitions with the parts and service suppliers for parts needed, with the approval of the Purchasing and Facilities Manager.
Maintain the parts stock room, and truck and equipment part bins in a neat and safe condition.
Maintain the garage, ensuring it is kept in a neat, orderly, and safe condition.
Complete required paperwork to track services and repairs, keep accounting informed of part inventory, and ensure maintenance reports on all vehicles are up-to-date.
Track own work to ensure time is properly charged to the correct accounts
