Heartland REMC is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Broadband Sales Specialist to support the growth of our Heartland Highspeed Fiber services. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling broadband services to both residential and commercial customers while delivering exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can effectively explain the value of high-speed fiber services, identify customer needs, and help guide them through the installation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Heartland Highspeed Fiber services to residential and commercial customers
- Clearly explain and demonstrate the features, benefits, and value of Heartland Highspeed Fiber products and services
- Assess customer premises to determine installation requirements, including wiring and equipment needs
- Coordinate and schedule customer installations as needed
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and current customers
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers by answering questions and providing solutions
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales activity
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to explain technical products in a clear and relatable way
- Customer service and/or sales experience preferred
- Basic understanding of broadband or telecommunications services is a plus
