Join the UDWI REMC team as a Human Resources Coordinator and play a pivotal role in shaping our culture, supporting our talent, and ensuring our people thrive. As the HR Coordinator, you will be the heartbeat of our human resources department. You’ll facilitate key HR activities and initiatives, ensure compliance, and help implement the organization’s mission and talent strategy. Working closely with the CFO and senior leadership, you’ll coordinate essential HR functions and create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding activities to support a positive and compliant employee experience
- Oversee daily HR department workflow and mentor team members
- Drive constructive performance evaluations and handle disciplinary processes in line with company policy
- Collaborate with leadership to execute staffing, recruiting, and retention strategies
- Administer HR programs: compensation, benefits, leave, performance, recognition, and development
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices; update policies as needed
- Facilitate training, professional development, and certification activities for staff
- Analyze HR trends and metrics, providing actionable insights to leadership
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HR management
- SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification highly preferred
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS, and talent management systems
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
